Anyone with a passion for conservation can contribute to science and have a meaningful impact on the fate of our coral reef ecosystems. At CCMI, we offer opportunities for citizen scientists to help our researchers gather data, assist in our long-term projects, and protect the coral reefs of Little Cayman.
Dive on the EDGE
EDGE corals are Evolutionarily Distinct and Globally Endangered but we have eight of these species in Little Cayman! This is an amazing chance for you to be help discover and map the locations of EDGE corals around the island, take photos to document their health, and be involved in the research related to some of the rarest coral species in the Caribbean. Come "Dive on the EDGE".
CCMI has teamed up with EarthWatch to give citizen scientists a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with our researchers here at the Little Cayman Research Centre.
