2021 Festival of SEAS – THE REEFS AGLOW

As CCMI’s largest fundraiser for the year, Festival of Seas: The Reefs Aglow was our first chance in two years to meet up with many of our supporters, both individuals and corporate entities, and provide an important update about the true impact of CCMI’s efforts in coral resiliency research, education programmes, and conservation projects. Funds raised at Festival of Seas this year help stabilise CCMI against the continued impacts of Covid-19 into 2022. This event is key in supporting: core costs, adaptation and change, and continued funding for projects.

This evening cocktail party was held on Saturday, 13 November 2021, at Grand Old House on the spacious outdoor deck, where neon lighting and glow in the dark touches featured throughout. An online auction of amazing items and experiences that were donated by the local business community and a 50/50 raffle helped us meet our event fundraising goals. We closed out the event with an incredible performance by LionFish, who provided amazing music to ensure we were all dancing until the end of the event!
