Limited Spaces Still Available: Caribbean Marine Ecology Camp 2019

May 21, 2019

Our 2019 Edmund F. and Virginia B. Ball Foundation – Caribbean Marine Ecology Camp (CMEC) still has a few spaces left for campers to register for this week of incredible adventure on Little Cayman! This year, with the support of the Edmund F. and Virginia B. Ball Foundation, we were able to award 5 young Caymanians full academic scholarships to this year’s camp as our first CMEC – Ocean Science Scholars (OSS). This prestigious scholarship was awarded to these passionate young people due to their excellent academic standing, their high-quality letters of recommendation from professionals in the local community, and their statement regarding their own dedication to our ocean environment. These 5 OSS will be joining other students from the Cayman Islands and abroad for a week of fun in the sun, while learning and living alongside our researchers and education staff at the Little Cayman Research Centre.
