Rutgers Internship Recruitment Open

May 25, 2019

Recruitment is open for the Rugers/CCMI Coral Reef Internship in Tropical Ecology and Coral Reef Conservation taking place THIS summer from July 15h – August 3rd 2019. Join the 11 students from around the world, who have already signed up to dedicate three weeks of their summer to this awesome study abroad programme. Dive and snorkel on one of the world’s most pristine coral reef environments.

This partnership programme has existed between our organizations for over a decade and is an amazing opportunity for undergraduate university students to undertake research at a fully operational field station. Interns will also receive 4 undergraduate university credits which are transferrable to many universities worldwide. Participants work alongside our research and education team to collect data in the field or in the lab, whilst learning about the principles of tropical ecology, sustainability and management. Students develop their data into a series of group research posters, which they are encouraged to present at a national or international scientific conference. More information on how you or your student can sign up for this incredible study abroad opportunity is available HERE.
