Celebrating 25 Years of CCMI
We invite you to share in the excitement and join the celebration to mark the Central Caribbean Marine Institute’s (CCMI) 25 years of marine research, conservation, and education in the Cayman Islands.

This milestone gala will be an elegant evening soiree, celebrating the first 25 years of CCMI’s work for coral reefs – and looking ahead to what our team of professionals can do with the support of our stakeholders. You’ll arrive to the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa and receive a welcome glass of bubbles before we head into the ballrooms for a 3-course dinner by the talented chefs at the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa. During the evening, you can bid on great items in our online auction, buy raffle tickets, get swept into the fun of the live auction, enjoy the keynote address by free diver Tanya Streeter, and dance the night away to live music by Lionfish.
Enjoy this once-a-year opportunity to share an evening with others who are passionate about saving coral reefs and who join in our vision of vibrant oceans and healthy coral reefs for the future.
This vision begins with you, and we hope you will come together in support of coral reefs at Festival of Seas!
Festival of Seas is CCMI’s largest fundraising event of the year and will sustain our operations, education and research programmes in the Cayman Islands for the year to come. Our supporters will also help us grow our reach and impact in research and education as we move forward with expansion plans that will grow our capacity and capabilities. This growth will have even greater impact on the health of coral reefs that benefits the entire Cayman Islands community – and beyond.
